Mussoorie, the jewel of Uttarakhand. One of the popular tourist places in India where you can experience a soothing climate. The magical place where you will find a beautiful mixture of peaks, woods, lakes. Uttarakhand is known as “Land of Gods”.But, after sunset, it is “Land of demons” too. Under beauty, there is a dark hidden history. Everyday darkness comes to life after the sunset. .No, any human comes near these haunted places in Mussoorie after sunset. Mussoorie is also famous for its one of the top haunted place in India. Here I have mentioned some of the haunted places in Mussoorie. Weak-hearted people should probably keep a distance from these places:
Lambi Dehar Death Mine:
Lambi dehar, the abandoned mine. The mine was started during the British era. over 50,000 miners died in this place due to unavailability of required health care, foods, constant exposure of lime, etc. Most of the workers gradually died because of long exposure to the lime and other noxious chemicals in the mines. So, it was closed after SC order Government to shut down the mines. in 1990. Since then it is abandoned and no one will come near this place especially after sunset.
The numerous deaths, the disappearance of people happened in deathly silence of the night. After 1990, it was fully vacated and later the buildings were covered by vegetation and soon lots of mysterious accidents happened which eventually strengthen the ghost stories.
Recently, a group of paranormal have visited this place. They experienced some shivering incidents. Reasons, why it is the center of negative ghost energy, is the presence of limestone contains natural emf. Also, Lambi dehar mines are considered to be an area of heavy rainfall zone. Thundering help to charge the particles which are considered to be an energy source for entities.
Isn’t it scary? Over 50000 soul wandering at this place. One murder of army jawan has also happened at this place. You will still clearly see the traces of his blood. So, if you are planning to visit this death mine, you should probably visit during daylight. But, I would prefer to stay away from these creepy place.
Savoy Hotel
Pari Tibba- Undying Love:
Pari Tibba is also known as Hill of Fairies. This place is mentioned in Ruskin Bon book. This place experience lighting strikes quite often and paranormal activities. It is quite infamous due to the ghost of the couple. The two lovers died in the mids of woods due to lightning. Thereafter, they have been seen by locals wandering at this place. This is called undying love. It is very dangerous to go inside the woods at night.
I personally suggest you guys don’t visit these places especially during the night or Amavasya and Poornima.
During Amavasya & Pournima, the power of the entities increased. That’s why in India, generally our grandfather or old people told us not to travel, inaugurate shop, office on these days.
So, guys if you want to experience the thrill, you can visit these places but I suggest don’t stay there after sunset. Go with group and tourist guide.
If anyone ever visited these places please share your personal experience here. We all would like to know your experience.
Stay safe and stay unpossessed!!
